    Born on December 6, 2000, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Mitchell Saron is a professional sabre fencer who will represent Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 23-year-old Harvard University student is not only a Senior National Champion but also a Team Bronze Medalist at the 2023 World Championships and a three-time medalist at the Junior World Championships.

    Saron's interest in fencing was sparked by the Star Wars movie Revenge of the Sith . He told USA Fencing , "I love being able to live my childhood dream of being a real-life Jedi." His passion for the sport led him to the Bergen Fencing Club and the New York Athletic Club, where he trained under coaches Oleg Stetsiv and Andrew Stetsiv .

    In addition to his fencing career, Saron is a health and wellness advocate and influencer. He shares his daily meal plans, wellness routines, and training regimen on Instagram. He is also a talented musician, playing both the piano and guitar in his spare time.

    Saron's academic achievements are equally impressive. He is a senior economics major at Harvard University and has a near-perfect score in the SAT and subject tests. His journey from a Star Wars fan to an Olympic fencer is a testament to his dedication and hard work.
