Jerry Jones Goes Off On Critics Amid CeeDee Lamb, Dak Prescott Contract Problems

Time is ticking for the Dallas Cowboys. Their big three stars are all looking for new contracts. Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons are due for an extension, but they at least are participating in training camp.

The same can't be said for star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. With negotiations with the Cowboys stalling, Lamb has opted to hold out in hopes for a new contract.

It's a precarious situation, which is why Cowboys fans are demanding Jerry Jones to do something. It seems like the owner has grown tired of the criticism , based on his response according to Jon Machota.

“I’m just gonna say this to y’all, give me some credit, OK?" Jones said, per Machota. "You don’t think I’m good with numbers? You think I know how to add and subtract? Do I know how to talk? And sell?"

"I realize all the criticism and I understand it. As a matter of fact, I try to stir it up. And I have since I got here. That’s good. Be relevant. It works,” Jones continued.

Jones has preached patience as contract negotiations between the two sides continue. However, given their recent history, the Cowboys fanbase is a bit worried about how things are going.

Lamb, Prescott, and Parsons are crucial parts of the Cowboys. Jones needs to stick the landing with these negotiations... or the fanbase may just turn on him.
