( KRON ) — A fire that torched 36 acres in Healdsburg on Wednesday was started by a man driving with no front tire, Cal Fire said. A suspect was arrested in connection with the blaze.

The Flora Fire burned areas on both sides of the 12000 block of Chalk Hill Road after it ignited Wednesday afternoon.

Cal Fire said 44-year-old Justin Roy Jones, of Anderson, was seen driving his truck for four miles with no front right tire. Sparks flew as the truck grinded against the asphalt.

Jones started three different fires along Chalk Hill Road, which threatened structures and burned brush. He was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of felony counts of unlawfully and recklessly starting a fire and violating terms of probation.

Chalk Hill Road was closed between Spurgeon Road and Flora Ranch Road for hours on Wednesday as crews battled the fire. Several agencies from nearby cities and counties converged to put it out.
