    Hot and humid week ahead with a sprinkle of rain chances

    WH AT WE ARE TRACKING: Scattered t hunderstorms are expected Sunday evening through Monday. After the rain has moved out of the area, temperatures will rise back up to the upper-80s and low-90s for much of the week. Hi gh dew points will put “Feels Like” temperatures in the low to mid-90s in the afternoon hours.

    NEXT 24 HRS: Temperatures for S un day have gradually picked up into the mid to upper-80s across much of the area. Some small showers have popped up south of I-90. These will linger through the afternoon hours, although they will remain i solated. The main chance for rain will hold off until early Monday morning. Overnight lows will remain a bit above average, edging near 70.

    LOOKING AHEAD: Sunday’s overnight timing regarding the line of stronger storms has pushed back once again.

    • Areas south of I-90 have a chance of seeing scattered thunderstorms around midnight with a stray isolated storm occurring during the day Monday.
    • North of I-90 , thunderstorms remain much more isolated with most of the system weakening once it nears I-94. The chance of isolated thunderstorms will continue through Monday morning into the afternoon.

    By T uesday, h igh temperatures will jump back to the upper-80s and low-90s . This will continue for most of the week. The warm temperatures will be paired with high dew points in the low-70s, causing “ F eels L ike ” temps to stretch well into the mid-90s. Wednesday and Thursday hold the next chance for rain with a 30-40 % chance.
