Lady Gaga sparked mixed reactions on Friday night with her spectacular performance at the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony. The 38-year-old singer, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, made a grand entrance down a golden staircase by the River Seine, hidden behind a cloud of pink feathers.

The 'Paparazzi' hitmaker was dressed in a black bodice paired with a detachable black and pink ruffled skirt, singing alongside dancers holding round pink, frilly props. She even took a moment to play the piano before changing into another stunning outfit featuring a white ruffled skirt.

The star performed in French and is also rumored to be performing a rendition of Edith Piaf's 'La Vie en Rose' with Celine Dion as part of a dazzling finale to the first-ever opening ceremony held outside a stadium . While many viewers praised the fantastic performance, some fans experienced sound issues due to the outdoor location next to the River Seine.
