A few months back, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi all commented on the potential for a Black Sabbath reunion, and all left the door open to the possibility.

“It’d be a nice thing to actually do, but whether it happens will be another thing,” Iommi told Eddie Trunk. “But we’ll see. I mean, who knows?”

Butler added: “Ozzy was hoping to finish it all off next year back in Aston, at the Aston Villa. I’m definitely up for it, to finish the whole thing off. Me and Ozzy have agreed, but I’m not sure about anybody else. I’d love to do it,” he added. “I’d absolutely love to do it.”

“If they wanted to do one more gig with Bill, I would jump at the chance,” Ozzy told The Madhouse Chronicles. “Do you know what would be cool? If we went to a club or something unannounced and we just got up and did it. We started up in a club.”

Now, Ward, who is looking more and more like the final piece of the puzzle, has commented on the potential reunion via social media.

“Hey ya, Bill Ward checking in regarding all the updates on a possible Sabbath show in England,” he wrote. “I’m in for playing some of everyone’s old favorites. Loved playing them then, I’d love to play them one last time.”

“I’m not going to talk about my health publicly except to say, everyday I’m pretty good for 76 years old, I’m active musically every day, and I have a very busy and gratifying life. Love you all, all the f*cking time.”
