Steph Curry’s Underrated Golf Tour Concludes with Exciting Finals at Notre Dame

South Bend, Ind. — Wednesday marked a memorable conclusion to the final round of Steph Curry’s Underrated Golf Tour, hosted at the scenic Warren Golf Course on the University of Notre Dame’s campus. This venue, a first for the tour, provided a prestigious backdrop for young golf talent aiming to make their mark.

The competition saw 24 athletes advance to the next stage, showcasing their skills in front of a distinguished audience. Catherine Andino and Jaden Soong emerged as the top performers, each securing a significant victory. Andino celebrated her first win on the tour with an impressive score of 141, while Soong clinched the boys' title with a score of 134.

The event concluded with a spirited celebration, featuring a water shower for the winners and a display of the coveted 2024 Curry Cup, which served as a symbol of the ultimate prize. The winners shared their thoughts on the achievement, reflecting on their journeys and the lessons learned.

“I’m really happy to be here,” Soong said. “Winning was great, but there’s always room for improvement. The Underrated Tour has been an incredible experience, giving us access to amazing courses and opportunities to grow.”

Andino echoed a sense of relief and accomplishment. “I’ve had a lot of second-place finishes recently, so breaking through today feels amazing. The course here at Notre Dame posed unique challenges, but I stuck to my plan and executed my shots well.”

The athletes also expressed their admiration for Notre Dame’s facilities, taking pride in playing on such a renowned course and enjoying the campus tour.

In a historic shift, the Curry Cup will move outside the Bay Area for the first time, heading to The Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey from September 2-5. This change promises to bring new excitement and opportunities to the tour’s future.
