WR Malik Taylor had a strong day.

He saw more action with Xavier Gipson not practicing, and he caught a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers in a red-zone period and one from Tyrod Taylor during seven-on-seven.

Taylor is a long shot to make the roster, but he started making his case.

    Injury Report

WR Gipson is out for one to two weeks with what coach Robert Saleh would only call a “lower extremity” injury. Gipson left Thursday’s practice early.

He was on the sideline watching Friday.

OL Jake Hanson also was out of practice.

LT Tyron Smith did not practice, but it was a scheduled rest day.
