Grizzly Bear Charges Through Campsite, Right Past Stunned Campers

Talk about a close call. Camping is great and all, but it does leave you at the mercy of nature. You know, if you're really roughing it out there with tents and what not. If you're toughing it out in a 30-foot camper with running water, I don't know if you can really call that
camping. But I will say that staying in a camper or RV is safer when it comes to having run-ins with wild animals. In this clip, we get to see how nature can show its teeth at any moment. A family camping together was set up on some benches overlooking a meadow when they heard some commotion coming from the woods. That noise and rustling ended up being two bears chasing one another. Why were the two grizzly bears chasing each other? Well, it probably has to do with mating season, which typically runs from the middle of May toward the end of July. If this is a brand new video that's hit the internet, the timing of it would align with a female bruin being chased by a male. Luckily for the family, the grizzly that was in hot pursuit was more occupied with the bear it was chasing than the campers standing by and taking pictures and videos. The grizzly bear ran a mere feet away from the family, then took off into the meadow to stay hot on the trail of the other bear. All the family could do afterwards was nervously laugh as they watched the bears chase one another off into the distance. There's no denying that the family of campers in this clip got off easy. The bear chasing the other was clearly agitated, and could have set its sights on the group of people instead of the other bear in a heart beat. Social media users that came across this footage knew that, and left comments below the video voicing how fortunate the humans were to be witnesses instead of victims:
"Lucky he was on a mission other than lunch." "I think it’s the stupidest thing to go camping in such areas." "You are in the bear's territory... what do you expect?" "They didn't have the right pic-a-nik baskets!" "How lucky they were not to get mauled?"
