    One arrested in Trumbull County OVI checkpoint Saturday

    TRUMBULL CO. (WKBN) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol had an OVI Checkpoint set up in Trumbull County on Saturday night.

    It was on Elm Road and ran from 9 to 11 p.m. Officers also conducted saturation patrols.

    According to a press release, officers made contact with 223 drivers during the two-hour operation.

    Four motorists were diverted in order to determine sobriety.

    Of these four, one was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
