Team USA's roster for the Olympics is filled with some of the greatest basketball players ever, but is there another sport these players would succeed at? Well, that was the question posed to six of them and we got some interesting answers.

Stephen Curry: "I'd try my hand at golf."

Kevin Durant: "That's a good question. Swimming."

    Anthony Edwards: "Swimming."

Jrue Holiday: "I could do a lot of everything. Swimming, volleyball. Track, I'd probably stink at track. But I'd probably (go) swimming and volleyball. Something like that."

Devin Booker: "Honestly, none of them. Only basketball."

Derrick White: "Probably not... Baseball have Olympics? I'd try for that one."

Curry going with golf is the least surprising pick here. He is an excellent golfer and won the American Century Celebrity golf tournament last year too. Had Curry focused on golf from a young age instead of basketball, I think there is a good chance he could have become a successful professional golfer. Many teams in the NBA probably wish he had gone that route.

Next, we had Durant, Edwards, and Holiday choose swimming. Jrue was the only one to name two sports, as he was confident in his volleyball skills too. On the other hand, Booker didn't think he'd be good at anything apart from basketball. The Phoenix Suns star would probably do well in esports, with how great he is when it comes to gaming.

As for White, he went with baseball, which is actually not a part of the 2024 Olympics. It will be part of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, though.

Anthony Edwards Believes He Is The Fastest Swimmer On Team USA's Roster

That wasn't the first time that Edwards had shown a lot of confidence in his swimming. Earlier this month, Edwards claimed he would beat every USA Basketball teammate in a swimming race.

"Freestyle. I'm fast too, though. [Fastest swimmer] on the team? For sure. They ain't no swimmers. We got Joel 'Big' Embiid, you got AD and Bam, they ain't swimming fast. Bron, he ain't swimming fast."

"KD, Kawhi, and Tatum, they not swimming fast at all. My only challengers are - Book, when he might not know how to swim. Jrue, he might drown. And Haliburton, oh my god. If Haliburton beat me then I just need to never touch the water again."

Considering Durant and Holiday chose swimming as well, these guys do need to have a competition at some point to decide who is the best swimmer. Jrue would be my pick to emerge victorious.

For now, though, these three and the rest of the team would be focusing on the sport they actually specialize in, basketball. Team USA will commence their quest to win a fifth straight gold medal when they face off against Serbia in their first game on July 28 at 5:15 PM local time and 11:15 AM NYT.
