There was a lot of pressure on Simone Biles entering Sunday's gymnastic qualifiers at the Paris Olympics. Fans were expecting nothing less than greatness from the 27-year-old as she kicked off her third Olympic campaign.

    Biles did not disappoint.

The gymnastics icon started off her day with a 14.600 score for her floor routine before heading to her highly-anticipated vault run. It was at this point that Biles pulled off the much-talked-about Yurchenko double pike, which is also known as the Biles II.

A slow-motion video of the insanely difficult and historic skill is currently making its rounds on social media -- and for good reason.

For lack of a better word, that was greatness unfolding right before our eyes. The fans on X, formerly Twitter, definitely agree.

"I've watched this about 20 times on repeat and I'm still amazed," said a fan.

The magical moment #SimoneBiles did a Simone Biles thing, you know just stick a #Yurchenko double pike at the #Olympic2024 AND be the first & ONLY woman who does this skill. The physics alone 🤯🤯🤯. Safe to say this officially now called The Biles II on Vaullt 😭😭😭🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽" exclaimed a supporter.

"She does not under stand gravity ...lol," read one of the comments.

"She's not human 😯😯," said another.

    "The GOAT," commented a fan.

The good news is that this is just Day 1 for Biles and the US Gymnastics team. There's more to come from the greatest of all time, and we're all here to enjoy the ride.
