The Houston Texans became the latest example of how quickly a franchise's results can change. The Texans went from last to first in the AFC South last season, marking the fourth straight season a team won its division after finishing last the season before. In doing so, the Texans had top Fantasy football breakouts, including quarterback C.J. Stroud and wide receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell. The Texans added to their playmaking positions with Joe Mixon and Stefon Diggs this offseason, so how should that affect your 2024 Fantasy football rankings?

The Bengals finished last in the AFC North last season, in large part due to Joe Burrow's midseason hand injury, so now that they'll face a weaker schedule this season. Should you target Cincinnati players during your 2024 Fantasy football draft prep? Before crafting your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football rankings and 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs would carry significantly more value than expected during his rookie season. The result: Gibbs rushed for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching 52 passes for 316 yards and a score. Gibbs was coming off the board in the middle of the fourth round on average but finished as a top-10 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football rankings 2024, along with plenty of sleepers, breakouts and busts. Head to SportsLine now to see them .

    Top 2024 Fantasy football breakouts

One of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts the model is predicting: Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze . The ninth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft led the Washington Huskies with 1,640 receiving yards last season as he and Michael Penix Jr . connected for 92 receptions, which also resulted in 13 touchdowns. He ended his collegiate career with 214 receptions for 3,272 yards and 24 touchdowns in the air with an additional 40 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

The biggest question surrounding Odunze is where he will pencil into the Bears depth chart. The receiving corps looks crowded ahead of the season with DJ Moore and Keenan Allen already there, although Allen's injury history has kept him from playing a full season. If either Allen or Moore miss time, Odunze can establish himself as Chicago's new downfield threat.

Another breakout that SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman. The Bills selected Coleman with the first pick in the second round (No. 33 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft as Buffalo was in desperate need to add talent at the wide receiver position. The Bills traded Stefon Diggs to Houston and Gabe Davis left for the Jaguars as a free agent, leaving Josh Allen without his top-two receiving yards leaders from last season. Coleman is expected to become a Week 1 starter and has the chance to emerge as the team's leading receiver despite this being his rookie season.

The 6-foot-4 receiver used his size to his advantage at Florida State with 11 touchdowns on 50 receptions after having seven touchdowns at Michigan State the year before. Coleman doesn't have breakaway speed, but his size and athleticism allow him to be an offensive weapon. He had his share of circus catches at Florida State last season and Allen is the type of quarterback that will allow his receivers to make plays even when covered. Coleman's size and ball skills figure to play well with a quarterback like Allen and given Buffalo's need to replace top talent at the receiver position, Coleman could be in for a huge workload in one of the top offenses in the NFL from the very start of the season.
