Where Could Bill Belichick Coach Next?

Former New England Patriots head coach and future Hall Of Fame inductee Bill Belichick did not find a coaching job in 2024 and is expected to be a contributor on some broadcasts this season. But don’t count out the legend on making an NFL comeback in 2025. Here are five landing spots for Bill Belichick to coach next season.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears could bring in Belichick to help Caleb Williams

The Chicago Bears have high expectations this season under head coach Matt Eberflus. After finishing 7-10 last season, the Bears are expected to be a competitive team under rookie Caleb Williams.

But if Chicago struggles in 2024 and fails to win more games than last year, Eberflus could be out of a job. Bringing in Belichick could help bring success to the Windy City and help Williams live up to his full potential.

New York Jets

The New York Jets could unite Aaron Rodgers with Bill Belichick

Wouldn’t it be funny if Bill Belichick were to coach for his rival New York Jets? It could definitely happen in 2025. Fans have always speculated how would Aaron Rodgers’ career have gone if he had an elite coach like Belichick. If the Jets fail to make the postseason in 2024, it is very likely the team will move on from head coach Robert Saleh.

In the three seasons under Saleh, the Jets have won seven or less games. Many fans see this team as a Super Bowl contender and would be disappointed if New York wastes the rest of Rodgers’ career. Signing a coach like Belichick would be a good move next season.

New Orleans Saints

Dennis Allen could be out of New Orleans sooner than later

If someone were to ask most New Orleans Saints fans, they would say that Dennis Allen is on the hot seat. After all, the team has failed to find success since his hiring and the team isn’t in a state to compete or rebuild but just stuck in the middle.

It will be hard for New Orleans to win a Super Bowl let alone make the playoffs with the current state of the roster. If the team underperforms in 2024, bringing in Belichick can help the team get the most out of its players and boost the defense as well.
