Three injured in Jones County rollover crash

JONES COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – Three people, including a child, were injured during a crash in Jones County.

The crash happened on Interstate 59 northbound at the 81 mile marker just before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27.

Officials with the Jones County Fire Council said firefighters found a four-door pickup truck off of the road at the location. One adult and the child sustained minor injuries, and the other adult had moderate injuries.

According to officials, the vehicle left the road, began to roll down an embankment and rolled over a large ditch. The vehicle came to rest right-side up.

No other injuries were reported.
