    2 injured in crash on Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Prince George’s County

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The United States Park Police (USPP) are investigating after a car struck a person in Prince George’s County on Monday morning.

    Details are limited; however, park police said around 3:15 a.m., officers were called to a crash in the area of Baltimore-Washington Parkway South and I-495.

    Police: Missing boy’s body recovered from pond near Montgomery County park

    One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and another had non-life-threatening injuries, according to USPP.

    As officials continue to investigate, all southbound lanes on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway are closed, and traffic is being diverted to I-495.

    In an update around 7:30 a.m., the USPP said all roads on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway have reopened.
