The New England Patriots have had fairly good attendance at training camp through the first four sessions, but one player who has been there hasn't been participating in team drills - wide receiver DeMario Douglas.

Douglas, 23, told reporters after Sunday's session that he's dealing with an injury that he suffered before the start of training camp.

"[It's] just a little minor tweak, but we're good," Douglas said. "It's not my thumb. It's my hand. I'm good, but we want to make sure that everything's good before I go out there."

Douglas is expected to be a big part of New England's offense in 2024 after recording 49 receptions for 561 yards as a sixth-round rookie out of Liberty last year.

Hopefully, he's cleared to go in team drills soon to help his quarterbacks, who could use it going against this defense.
