The New England Patriots have paid a number of their own players this offseason, but one guy who hasn't seen any additional money or years added to his contract this year has been edge rusher Matthew Judon.

Judon, 31, is entering the final year of his deal and has made it clear that he wants to be paid what he believes is fair.

On Monday, New England held their first padded session of training camp, and Judon was present but wasn't in uniform. This led to a discussion between the edge rusher and Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo which caught the attention of cameras.

Judon was also seen speaking to Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf and director of player personnel Matt Groh on the sidelines prior to leaving the field.

Things may be getting ugly in New England, as Judon, who had money moved from 2024 to 2023 in his contract last year, is seeing all of his teammates get new deals besides him.
