Everyone Is Freaking Out Over This Nerdy Pommel Horse Guy Named Steve

We have a new American hero, y'all.

His name is Steve Nedoroscik, and he had one job: pommel horse.

If you aren't rotting in front of a TV watching Olympic coverage, then you probably don't know that the US men's gymnastics team won their first Olympic medal in 16 years.

Paul Juda slayed his vault.

Brody Malone did his thing on the parallel bars.

Frederick Richard demolished that high bar.

And Asher Hong did things I didn't know were humanly possible on the rings.

But one person came in clutch at the absolute last minute, and that was the guy with the glasses: Steve.

Stephen Nedoroscik only competed in ONE event and he was the literal last competitor. The entire competition was on his shoulders for Team USA.

And boy, oh boy, did he deliver.

People are obsessed.

As this person said, "Taking off your glasses to then perform a near perfect routine on the pommel horse is so freaking metal."
