UPDATE: Missing juvenile in Gibson Co. has been located

GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A missing juvenile in Gibson County has been located after multiple agencies conducted a search.

Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says they were searching for 13-year old Matthew Williams, who was located just before 8:30 p.m..

He says said Williams is developmentally disabled and has one partial hand.

Authorities say the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management Agency and Ohio Valley Search & Rescue are currently in the White Church Cemetery area attempting to search for the juvenile.

They are asking locals to stay clear of the area at this time as multiple drones and K9’s are said to be on the scene. Deputies are currently on the scene for crowd control purposes. It is said additional heat signatures and scents will divert the drones and K9 units.
