Incumbent Shawnee County Commissioners Aaron Mays , a Republican, and Kevin Cook, a Democrat, have both raised more than three times as much money as the opponents they will face in next week's primary elections.

Meanwhile, the campaign of Democratic Shawnee County treasurer's candidate Susan Duffy has raised even more than Mays or Cook.

Candidates in next week's Aug. 6 primary were required by Monday to file reports detailing income their campaigns brought in and money expended between Jan. 1 and last Thursday.
