Having promised WWE that he would respect their intellectual property after his departure from the company, Bryan Danielson has refrained from using his iconic “ Yes! ” chant and gesture on AEW television. However, it appears that he could be set to change that, as it has been noted that on Monday, his attorney filed to trademark the phrase “ Yes! Yes! Yes! ” As evidence of his usage, he would share a link to the YouTube video below, which is from Danielson’s time in WWE as Daniel Bryan.

Danielson didn’t actually create the “ Yes! ” chant, with former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez introducing it to fans during his entrance to the Octagon. Yet, unlike Danielson, fans wouldn’t chant it with him, which is the big difference between the two versions. And now it appears to be a matter of time before AEW fans will be chanting it unless WWE decides to challenge his application.
