Orange Cat Annoys Sister While Watching TV Just Like a Human Kid

If you have a sibling and had a TV set growing up, you engaged in at least one battle over it. Maybe you liked different shows, or maybe one of the seats in the living room was better for viewing and they wanted it. Whatever the case may be, I'd nearly guarantee you took at least one elbow to the ribs over it.

Humans aren't alone, apparently. On Friday, July 26th, one cat mom showed off her orange cats battling it out while watching TV, and it's a little bit nostalgic:

Macaroni and Cheese are supposed to go well together! Cut it out and let your sister watch TV!

Disclaimer: Macaroni and Cheese usually get along great. Of course they do, they're siblings, and everybody loves their siblings. However, that doesn't mean that they're not willing to annoy each other sometimes. Mac was the culprit this time, and judging by the fact their bio says, "MAC ATTACK and his sister, Cheese," he's usually the culprit. Cheese isn't innocent, though: she'll swat him when she's feeling mischievous!

One look at Mac's continued pawing and airplane ears will tell you that he might not have even meant to be annoying , he just wanted to play. Though, that side eye at mom definitely makes it seem like he was aware that he was being annoying; it was a nice bonus.

    What are Orange Cats Like?

This household is interesting; there's one male orange cat, which is typical, and a female one, which is not something you see too often. Anywhere from 70-80% of orange cats are male, which doesn't leave a very large female population. It's simply less likely for females to be orange: the orange gene is carried on the X chromosome, so males only need one copy, but females need two, and that's hard to come by.

Because most orange cats are male, a lot of male-cat stereotypes are applied to them. People often say that orange cats are:

    1. Affectionate
    2. Easy to please
    3. Always ready to play
    4. Very vocal

As far as actually being orange goes, there's no real evidence to support the claims that orange cats are technically "crazier" just because they're orange. If they're crazy, it's because they're male. They need more enrichment.

Girl cats tend to be a little bit more subdued, and that can be seen with Mac and Cheese, too. She does love to play, but she's also content to sunbathe or watch TV without anyone bugging her. Not that she ever gets that with Mac around...
