Simone Biles Had To Remind People Not To Comment On Her Hair, Because That's Where We Are

You're likely aware of Simone Biles , the most decorated gymnast in history.

Today, Simone is competing in the women's team final for artistic gymnastics alongside Team USA teammates Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee , and Jade Carey (Hezly Rivera won't compete but will still qualify for a medal).

And what is the GOAT concerned about as she (hopefully) stares down the gold? People's comments about her hair. It's not out of nowhere: Her appearances at the Olympics thus far have led to numerous comments saying her hair looks "sloppy" or undone (people suck).

On her Instagram story, Simone wrote, "Don't come for me about my hair. IT WAS DONE but bus has NO AC & it's like 9,000 degrees. Oh & a 45 min ride."

"Gonna hold your hand when I say this: Next time you wanna comment on a black girls hair. JUST DON'T," she concluded.

Her comments were quickly praised on social media:

Simone's performance in the final thus far has been solid.

And by solid, I mean, "Yeah, I have no idea how this is even possible."
