Dan Orlovsky reveals his top five NFC quarterbacks during a discussion on ESPN’s Get Up on Tuesday www.espn.com/watch/get-up Orlovsky’s colleagues were infuriated when he left Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott out of his top five www.espn.com/watch/get-up Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott practices with the team during 2024 Training camp AP
During a discussion about whether Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was the best in the NFC, Orlovsky revealed his top five QBs for the conference.
“I would right now if you asked me to rank the NFC QBs it’s Matthew Stafford one,” Orlovsky said.
“I would probably put Jordan Love at two and Brock Purdy at three.
“I’d probably put Kirk Cousins at four and Jared Goff at five.”
Stafford plays for the Los Angeles Rams and led the team to a Super Bowl two years ago.
Last season he threw for 3,965 yards and 24 touchdowns in 15 games.
Purdy helped lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl last season but they fell short to the Chiefs.
He threw for 4,280 yards and connected on 31 touchdowns in 16 games.
Cousins was injured for most of the season after tearing his Achilles but he is set to play for the Atlanta Falcons next season after playing six seasons with the Vikings.
Goff played well last season for the Detroit Lions throwing for 4,575 yards and 30 touchdowns.
Douglas who played 10 seasons in the NFL as a wide receiver, was infuriated throwing his hands up in the air while Greenberg, an ESPN host since 1996, ripped up pieces of paper.
“Dan where the hell is Dak Prescott, Dan,” Douglas raged.
Greenberg questioned whether Orlovsky left him out on purpose to cause drama.
“Did you purposely leave out, did you just overlook Dak Prescott?” Greenberg asked.

Orlovsky doubled down, arguing that he couldn’t rank Prescott over any of the quarterbacks he named.
Fans joined in on the debate on social media with many having the same reactions as Douglas and Greenberg.
“Dan’s out of bounds on this one,” wrote one fan.
“Having Kirk at 36 years old coming off an Achilles tear over Dak is absurd,” complained a second.
“To not have Hurts or even Dak in the top 5 NFC is straight wild,” said a third fan.
“Orlovsky has underrated Dak for years now. He doesn’t even have a good argument for it,” a fourth said.
“Dan has such a weird bias against Dak,” raged a fifth.
Prescott played in all 17 games last season, completing 410 of 590 passes.
The Cowboys quarterback threw for 4,516 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions.
Prescott led the Cowboys to the playoffs where they eventually fell to Love and the Packers.
