The bond between a dog and their human is a strong one. For Millie the Great Dane, her best friend is a boy named Noah. Mom captured their growth together over 6 months in a time-lapse video and it's truly incredible.
On July 29, 2024, Chloe Talbert ( @the_oakie_dokie ) shared the sweet clip showing Noah alongside his bestie, Millie. It's evident that the bond they share was there right from the get-go!
"Six months with our little Millie Moo," the caption reads. In the 36-second montage of heartwarming moments, Noah and Millie grow up together. From Millie as a tiny puppy to the two running, playing, and loving on each other, it's clear they were meant to be together from the start. The video ends with Millie, who's grown to be twice Noah's size, laying on the floor with him. They share in one final kiss to mark the end of a 6-month era to begin a new one.

PetMD explains Great Danes can grow to be between 28 and 32 inches tall, weighing somewhere between 110-175 pounds. Much of their growth happens in the first year of life. The Great Dane Club of America notes that a Dane pup grows "as much in his first year than a child grows in 14 years," which is astonishing.
Because of their size, it's important to keep a close eye on your pup around small children, like toddlers, because they see them as other puppies due to their size and sounds. By training them as part of the family, these loving pups will learn to be careful with their size around smaller children. Their sweet disposition makes them the perfect family dog while their size deters intruders.
Millie's fast growth in the clip is amazing to see, but it's even more amazing to watch her bond with Noah grow better and stronger each day.
