‘Everything I need right now’ fans claim as Snoop Dogg has swimming lesson with Michael Phelps and works on ‘lung power’

SNOOP Dogg continues to be a hit at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The rap icon hit the pool for a lesson with the US Olympic swimming legend Michael Phelps .

Snoop Dogg took part in an NBC segment with Phelps, who’s a 23-time gold Olympic medal winner.

The 52-year-old put on a swimming cap and said, “You see me and (Michael Phelps); we go back like the backstroke.

Snoop Dogg then asked Phelps, “Now, MP, how does one get fast in the pool?”

The 39-year-old said there are two key ways to being quick: Wingspan and lung power.

“You just described me! You said wingspan, lung power — I definitely have great lung power,” a laughing Snoop said, referring to his well-known Marijuana use.

“And I do have a swimmer’s body. Look, our bodies are similar, man,” he added. “We could be twins!”

Snoop and Phelps went into the pool as the latter taught the rapper how to do the proper freestyle arm movements.

After Snoop showed his version of a swimming technique, Phelps displayed how it’s done, showing the proper way of performing it.

“Okay flipper,” Snoop said.

The two finished the video by trying to freestyle in sync.

“Mike, you make this look too easy. You see I’m in gold medal condition,” Snoop joked.

“And he’s still in gold medal condition as we speak!

“Shout out to the Phelps family and to the team that’s going to give me some oxygen right now.”

Fans shared their impressed reactions to the duo’s swimming video on X.

Snoop Dogg has been a sensation at the Paris Olympics so far as he has the title of special correspondent with NBC Sports.
