Bill Maher thinks Travis Kelce is set to dump Taylor Swift and admits he 'liked her more when she was country'

Bill Maher has some thoughts on Taylor Swift 's relationship with Travis Kelce - and it's not optimistic ones.

The HBO TV show host spoke to Hailey Welch, best known for being the viral "Hawk Tuah" girl , on his podcast Club Random. He asked her about her thoughts on Taylor Swift. After she admitted to liking the singer, Bill said: "I liked her more when she was country," to which Hailey agreed.

The conversation then turned to Taylor's relationship with her Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend. Bill wasn't ashamed to share that he thought their relationship was childish.

"Look I'm sure she's a lovely person but the whole thing with the football player, I just feel like 35 is a little old to be like, 'my boyfriend's a football player! and I wear his jersey to the game with his number on it.' Right? I mean come on," Bill explained.

Hailey didn't want to make waves, staying neutral as she responded: "Whatever makes her happy, if that's what she wants to do if that's what makes her happy, go on. It ain't got nothing to do with me."

But Bill wasn't done, sharing how he thought the couple's relationship was going to end. "I know he's gonna dump her though, you know that?" he said.

"With her, it's like the Gatorade at the Super Bowl, you know you're gonna get dumped. You just don't know when," Bill added.

Hailey decided to look on the bright side of things. "But you gotta think about it this way, if he does that can you imagine the next album we're gonna get off of that?" she said.

"It won't be f--k John Mayer anymore it'll be f--k Travis," Hailey added, referencing Taylor's ex-boyfriend John Mayer who she's written scathing songs about including "Dear John."

Contrary to Bill's prediction, it seems that Travis and Taylor are going strong. Their relationship stared a little over a year ago when Travis spoke about attending Taylor's concert and wanting to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it.
