HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Almost two dozen new judges were sworn in on Tuesday to Connecticut’s superior courts.

“You bring a lot to that table and that chair as a judge,” Gov. Ned Lamont said. “Just remember who you are and where you are from when you’re talking to someone going through an incredibly complicated time. You administer justice fairly, equitable and decisively, and do it with a heart.”

Lamont swore in the 22 judges, who he nominated and the General Assembly approved. They will serve eight-year terms.
