Single plane made emergency landing on highway in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY, Ark. ( KTAL/KMSS ) — A skilled pilot made an emergency landing on the highway in Miller County Wednesday.

According to a Facebook post on the Miller County Sheriff’s Office page, a pilot was having trouble in the air and needed to make an emergency landing on Highway 67.

Deputies with the MCSO arrived at the scene to assist. Officials say the pilot is okay and didn’t suffer any injuries.

A round of applause for him for being able to make a split second decision that avoided a crash.
