Simone Biles' Husband Is Gushing Over Her After She Made Team USA History

The difference between the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics for Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens is night and day.

For starters, she wasn't at her best during the past games, as she ended up suffering from a brutal case of the "twisties." It is most comparable to a baseball pitcher or golfer suffering from the yips, as she had a mental block that derailed her performance. On top of going through what may have been the most challenging time of her already legendary career, Biles' then-boyfriend and now husband, Jonathan Owens, was unable to attend in person due to the pandemic.

Biles was still able to win a couple of medals, but at the 2024 games, she has shown that she is back and better than ever. On top of that, her husband was able to miss out on NFL training camp and support her in person this time around. In what was her first medal opportunity, Biles absolutely crushed it as she helped lead Team USA to a gold medal in the women's team final. She has been trending all over social media, and Owens is making sure that she knows he is her biggest fan and that she is an absolute star.

He took to Instagram to make sure she knew how proud he was of her after not only winning gold but also of her becoming the most decorated gymnast in Team USA history.

"Witnessing history every time you step on the mat... Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it," wrote Owens .

Biles will have a chance to add four more medals to her haul in Paris and continue to cement her status as one of the most legendary Olympic athletes of all time. Her next event will take place on August 1 for the all-around final, as she will look to take the world by storm—again.
