FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — A man was arrested for fatally stabbing his wife in their Fair Oaks home on Monday night , the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said.
Officers responded to the home in the 3900 block of Highland Oaks Drive just after 6:15 p.m. There, they found 77-year-old Karen Dorbayan who had been stabbed in her upper body.
She was taken to the hospital where she died.
Fairfax County police investigating deadly domestic-related stabbing in Fair Lakes Detectives said 77-year-old Behruze Dorbayan stabbed his wife, though they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
He was taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with Second-Degree Murder. He is being held without bond.
