    Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office identifies skeletal remains found in June

    SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office has identified skeletal remains found last month . Deputies said the remains were found on the side of the road near Calle Chiripa and Ranch estates.

    Shiprock man charged in July second-degree murder

    The sheriff’s office confirmed the remains were identified as Santos Treto-Ortiz. He was reported missing by his family from the Santa Fe area in June 2022. The sheriff’s office has been investigating the remains as a suspicious death.
