Summer hideaways on Spain’s Balearic Islands have long been popular, with destinations like Palma offering house hunters a variety of options to consider. One new listing in Mallorca, now going for $46 million, takes Mediterranean living to sprawling new heights, with nearly 20,000 square feet of ultra-modern living space and breathtaking views of Port Andratx from its multiple outdoor spaces.

Dubbed Villa Pura , the hillside mansion resides in the prestigious enclave of Las Brisas, an upscale development prized for its stunning views. The home’s modern design includes nine bedrooms and an equal number of baths spread across three stories. Sights of the local marina and mountains give the home a larger-than-life feel. The also home features a swimming pool for staying cool and a 164-foot swim channel for swimming laps. Alby Euesden and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency hold the listing.

The airy dining room comes with a dreamy view.

The villa’s angular shape creates an eye-catching effect as its design zigzags upwards and back, starting from the lowest level. Here, the formal living room with a bar sits to the right of the foyer, next to a spacious TV room, dining room, and show kitchen. The dining room balances key materials seen throughout the abode, like wood and stone, with a stunning outdoor view. A similar contrast is found in the minimalistic kitchen with dual islands and a fireplace.

Four bedrooms, including the primary suite, are located on the floor above. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors slide open to a private patio where a slotted wooden screen provides privacy and light modulation, while the en suite bathroom houses a soaking tub and a large shower, as well as one of the backlit wardrobes. There’s a jacuzzi on one of the terraces, too, but the rooftop deck might be the best place to catch some rays via a rooftop dining area and what marketing materials describe as a “chill-out lounge.”

Another three guest bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor, along with an indoor/outdoor gym, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a home theater, and a professional service kitchen and pantry.

The main swimming pool and the swim channel, meanwhile, are back up on the main floor next to a vast terrace with an outdoor kitchen, an open-air poolside lounge with a bar, numerous dining areas, and a fire pit with built-in banquette seating.
