USA's 5-Time Olympian Dressage Horse Is Stealing Hearts All Over Paris

Sadly, the Americans have been eliminated from team competition on Day 1 of Dressage in the 2024 Olympics, but individuals will still be competing in the Grand Prix test, including fan favorite Steffan Peters and his horse Suppenkasper, also known as Mopsie.

Mopsie is known as the rave horse , and this video can show you why.

This clip was shared by the TikTok account for @ Erinfrostybristol and people cannot get enough of Mopsie. The caption reads, "USA's 'Rave Horse' returns!The internet's favorite dressage sensation, five-time US Olympian SPeters Dressage and his party-loving horse, Suppenkasper - AKA Mopsie - are back to bust some moves at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!"

One person commented, "That horse has more groove in one hoof than I have in my whole body." Another added, "Mopsie (the horse) is and will always be my favorite Olympic athlete! He’s the bestest boy!"

Someone else replied, "As an equestrian myself dressage always blows my mind! So crazy people can teach their horses this!."

A lot of people are commenting what this one person said, which is "I just know Snoop is in that crowd somewhere grinning ear to ear waiting to speak to the team to see if he can get them in a video!" and also this, "All I can hear is Snoop saying “That horse is crip walking!"

It is often compared to ballet for horses due to its focus on precision, grace, and fluidity of movement. The word "dressage" comes from the French word "dresser," which means "to train."

The basic movements involved are walk, trot, and canter, as well as transitions between these gaits. No, crip walking is not one of them.

The judges base the performances on accuracy, fluidity, and the horse’s obedience and harmony with the rider. It's just so amazing to see and I'm with everyone saying that Mopsie is their favorite!
