Aaron Rodgers minces no words shooting down Jets rumor: 'It's bulls—t'

It's not what it looks like, according to New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The four-time NFL MVP was videoed having intense interactions with wide receiver Garrett Wilson during training camp practices earlier this week, but Rodgers insists it's nothing out of the norm.

"It's a lot of bullsh—t. You know that. Come on. There's always stories to be made up," said Rodgers while appearing on the Up & Adams show, which was on location in Florham Park for Wednesday's practice.

The 40-year-old Rodgers, who is a slam dunk for future Hall of Fame enshrinement, cautioned that the footage does not show the reality of his relationship with Wilson. The quarterback has routinely spoken highly of New York's top target.

"I talked to G [Wilson] about this. There's appearance and there's the reality. What it appears to be, you can run with it," said Rodgers. "The reality is and you can't really tell 'cause I watched the video. The second conversation we were kind of laughing at each other. I'm teasing him. He's kind of like the little brother who's getting teased and then he kind of snaps back. Then, I tease him back. It's a whole lot of nothing in the end."

Rodgers suggested that his on-field chats with the Jets WR1 are beneficial, even when they appear confrontational.

"There are good conversations that we have when the fans and the media is not zooming in on us. He's a passionate guy. I'm a passionate guy. The appearance doesn't even really match what was said out there," said Rodgers.

The Jets are off on Thursday before returning to practice on Friday at the team facility.
