BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Wildfire season is well under way in California and GoFundMe wants to help.

GoFundMe has set up a “Centralized Hub” to give California residents guidance on how to help individuals who have been displaced by wildfires to make sure they get the resources they need.

Evacuation orders in place for Borel Fire; more than 58,682 acres burned, Hwy 178 reopens

The “Hub” includes verified fundraisers related to the wildfires in an effort to make donating easy and to cut back on scam accounts. Several Borel Fire victims could be found within the Hub:

The Borel Fire continues to rage on in the Kern River Valley, with only 34% containment. The wildfire has also set unhealthy air quality within Kern County, according to the Air Quality Response Program.

You can find the Southern California “Centralized Hub” here .
