The NFL Top 100 list continues to roll out, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was revealed as the No. 12 player in the league.

Oh dear. Where do I even start?

This list as a whole has been polarizing for several years, as no one can really tell what the list is based on. Is it based solely off the performance of the players in the year prior? Is it based on the overall body of work? Well, in either case, Allen belongs higher.

The Bills’ quarterback led the NFL in total touchdowns in 2023, and is the only quarterback in NFL history with 40+ touchdowns in four consecutive seasons. And since Lamar Jackson has yet to be ranked, it’s safe to assume he’ll be listed higher than Allen, which, as I’ve already written , everyone really needs to stop pretending that Baltimore’s quarterback is better than Buffalo’s.

Allen had a higher EPA, adjusted EPA, more touchdowns, a higher success rate, a higher completion percentage, more yards, and more total touchdowns than the guy who was named MVP. We live in a world where the Bills have the second-best quarterback in football, and the single-most disrespected player in football all wrapped in one.
