Zach Wilson's Odds With Your Mom VS. Your Fantasy Team?

After being drafted 2nd overall by the Jets in the 2021 draft, Wilson has been almost nothing but a disappointment. In his last two seasons, Wilson started in 21 games, of which only two of them he finished as a top 10 QB. Wilson has shown his inability to move the ball down the field in an even somewhat consistent manner, and we have seen him make awful passes and decisions.

In 3 seasons with at least 9 games played in each, Wilson had never had more than 9 TD passes in a season (9, 6, 8) with more interceptions than TDs in two of these seasons (11, 7, 7). There was potential for production on the ground, but nothing could solidify his status in New York.

In the 2024 offseason, the Jets finally moved on from and traded him to the Denver Broncos. There was some possibility he could be the week one starter as they try to prepare rookie Bo Nix to take the reins. However, Wilson has looked so poorly in team practices so far, and there is a chance he is their 3rd string or even cut from the roster.

Avoid Wilson at all costs in redraft leagues. And the only reason he should be on any roster is a 2QB dynasty roster with Nix, in case the QB situation gets shaky in Denver. Unfortunately for him, he's had more success seducing moms than producing stats.
