Princess Eugenie, 34, posted some adorable throwback pics on Instagram, including one that features herself, her mom Sarah Ferguson and her sister Princess Beatrice cheering on the athletes from the stands. (See the striking photo below.)
Alongside the photos, she shared her love for the world event, writing, “The Olympics is one of the best things in our world. It’s such a special time watching superhuman athletes represent their countries, bringing people together and inspiring generations. Some of my most favourite memories from 2012 was being on the sidelines cheering on our heroes.”

Princess Eugenie also gave a shoutout to her cousin Zara Tindall, who repped Great Britain as she competed in equestrian events that year.
“Not to mention, the best moment of all, watching my family win silver in eventing, goooo Z,” she added. “Tag me in your Olympics pictures, I LOVE seeing them and resharing.”
Although it seems Princess Eugenie hasn’t made her way over to Paris to watch the Olympics in person, another royal has. Princess Anne was spotted at the events recently.
Princess Anne (who was recently hospitalized with a concussion following a speculated horse-related accident) was photographed watching the Men’s Rugby Sevens match from the stands and even participated in the medal ceremony at the Men’s 100m Breaststroke final.

Princess Eugenie has been sharing a lot of sports-related throwbacks lately. Earlier this month, Eugenie, who shares sons August and Earnest with her husband Jack Brooksbank , shared a heartwarming video to rally support for England’s soccer team as they approached the semi-finals.
In the adorable footage , baby August is seen sporting an England football onesie, with Eugenie’s caption expressing her enthusiasm and national pride.
"Throwback to a baby Augie," she wrote alongside the previously unreleased clip. "Wishing @england the best of luck tonight #euros."
