    Britney Spears' ex-husband admits he will 'always appreciate' their love despite divorce

    Sam Asghari has said he is looking forward to the future , but admitted he will always think fondly of his marriage to Britney Spears .

    The pair tied the knot in a lavish ceremony back in June 2022, but their relationship sadly wasn't to last and they split 14 months later . The former couple finalized their divorce in May this year and he's now spoken out about their time together.

    Sam said he is thankful for their relationship and admitted he learned a lot from their romance . "You learn so much from being in relationships in general," he said in a new interview.

    Speaking to E! News , Sam added: "I appreciate all the amazing experiences that I got." He also said he felt as though he had "grown as a person" thanks to his relationship with Britney, explaining that it's "always going to be a part of me."

    Sam added: "I'm always going to celebrate the past and learn about the past and move on to the future." He had nothing but good things to say about his ex-wife, describing her as "amazing".

    The dancer is also pursuing his acting career with a role in the upcoming action comedy Jackpot He's said he thrives on the competitive nature of the industry and is looking forward to what comes next.

    Speaking to Us Weekly , he shared: "That's the beauty of acting. You never know what project is good for you and what's not. Personally, I've auditioned so many times before, and that's part of acting, and I love the competitiveness of the industry."

    He expressed his preference for original projects and praised producers who assemble a great cast. "I like original projects [and when] producers do such a good job of putting a cast together. TV shows are always something that I'm looking forward to auditioning for because those are the ones that resonate with the audience the most," he said.

    Jackpot sees Sam star alongside Simi Liu and John Cena. The upcoming action-comedy, which revolves around a group of people trying to kill a lottery winner before they can claim their prize, resonated with him due to his heritage.

    He explained: "Everybody's always excited about the action packed things, and me coming from a different country, not speaking the language, I always watch action films because that's what speaks international languages."
