New Blink Twice Trailer Previews Zoë Kravitz’s Thriller Movie Starring Channing Tatum

A new trailer for Blink Twice has been released.

Bink Twice, formerly known as Pussy Island, is a new thriller movie directed by Zoë Kravitz . It stars Channing Tatum , Christian Slater , and more.

What is Blink Twice about?

“When tech billionaire Slater King meets Frida, he invites her to join him and his friends for a dream vacation on his private island,” the official synopsis reads. “However, as strange things start to happen, she’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out alive.”

Along with Tatum (Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street) and Slater (Heathers, Mr. Robot), Blink Twice stars Naomi Ackie, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Kyle MacLachlan, Haley Joel Osment, Geena Davis, Alia Shawkat, and Levon Hawke.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever played anyone [like this],” Tatum recently told Total Film about his character. “Every character I play, I usually have some sort of love for or a connection to. I don’t think I’ll ever tell anybody what I had to create inside my head to play this person. He’s a psychopath.”

Blink Twice marks Kravitz’s feature film directorial debut. Having co-wrote the script for the movie with E.T. Feigenbaum, Kravitz previously played Selina Kyle/Catwoman in 2022’s The Batman (she voiced the character in 2017’s The Lego Batman Movie prior to that). She also voiced Mary Jane Parker in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and starred as Angel Salvadore in 2011’s X-Men: First Class.

Her filmography additionally includes 2013’s After Earth, 2014’s Divergent, 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road, 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, 2017’s Gemini, and 2022’s Kimi, among other titles.

Blink Twice will be released in United States theaters on August 23, 2024, from Amazon MGM Studios.
