Camila Cabello has been "going thru it lately" amid reports that she reunited with ex Shawn Mendes .

The 27-year-old "Havana" singer took to her Instagram on Wednesday (July 31) to share a photo of her laying in bed alongside a vulnerable message about healing from "heartache" and showing up for people even as she feels like taking a step back.

"going thru it lately ❤️‍🩹 feels like sometimes there is heartache everywhere i look, within me and around me," she said. "and i try my best to show up for my friends, my fans and the people that show up for me but it's hard to pour from what feels like an empty cup."

She added, "if I am a part of your life and i disappear sometimes, that's probably why. so brb while i get some bandages and warm honey and stitches for this head and heart. you know i'll be back from my trips to hell hotter and funnier and smarter."

The "My Oh My" musician concluded her emotional message with some "field notes" noting that being 27 is "messy" and "gilded."

Cabello's post comes weeks after a surprising reunion with her ex as she and the "In My Blood" singer sparked rumors of a romantic reconciliation while "hanging out" at the Copa América final in Miami. The pair previously dated from 2019 to 2021 before briefly reuniting following a PDA-packed meet at Coachella in 2023.
