Former Kentucky governor Steve Beshear recovering after car crash

KENTUCKY ( FOX 56 ) — On Wednesday morning, a car accident injured former Kentucky governor Steve Beshear.

According to his son and current governor, Andy Beshear , the former governor will make a full recovery.

Elected in 2007 , Steve was the 61st governor of Kentucky and served two terms. During his time as governor, Steve earned Kentucky national recognition for job creation and business investment and he “worked aggressively” to improve education and health standards for the state, according to the National Governor’s Association.
