Blackberry Smoke Fan Takes A Tumble, Does A Perfect Flip & Still Makes It To The Front Row During Mad Rush As Gates Open

Not the best form, but still got the gold.

I’ve gotta admit, my days of lining up for a concert early and rushing to get the spot right up at the front are pretty much over. I’d much rather have a seat with a good view, somewhere I can stand if I want or sit if I decide to, and somewhere with easy access to the concession stand to easily get those overpriced concert beers when I need a refill.

But this crowd was off the races to get the best seat in the house.

Ahead of Blackberry Smoke‘s recent show at the Neshoba County Fair in Mississippi, fans were lined up with their chairs in hand, waiting for the gates to open so they could stake their claim right in front of the stage.

And in a scene like the running of the bulls in Spain, the crowd takes off from the starting line as soon as the gate opens – but unfortunately for one guy, he takes a tumble as he goes to jump a rail.

But in a gymnastic performance that would make Simone Biles proud, he bounces right back up with his eyes on the prize, chairs still in hand, and after a near-perfect roll, somehow still manages to recover enough to still get his spot in the front row, right in front of the stage.

Helluva performance here in the middle of the Olympics.

And let’s be honest, it makes sense why the crowd was excited to see Blackberry Smoke. These guys are one of the most badass, and underappreciated, southern rock bands out there. I saw them in concert recently, and they put on one hell of a show.

So this crowd definitely knows there’s a “Good One Coming On.” (I’m so sorry, I had to do it).
