Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, recently posted a photo of the two on a boat, celebrating what many are calling "National Girlfriend Day."

Clark and the Fever are currently working through the WNBA's break in the season amid the 2024 Paris Olympics, so there may be time to celebrate the supposed holiday.

McCaffery shared the picture of himself and Clark, tagging the Fever rookie on Instagram, while adding a heart emoji to the note.

According to multiple outlets , the two have been together since August of 2023, when they met at the University of Iowa.

McCaffery played basketball with the Hawkeyes from 2017 to 2023, averaging 4.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game throughout his collegiate career.

The 6-foot-6 guard was a constant contributor to the Iowa men's basketball team, but nothing could compare to Caitlin Clark's impact on the Hawkeyes as well as the NCAA.

Clark left the collegiate scene as the NCAA's all-time leading scorer in both men's and women's basketball, scoring 3,951 points throughout her four-year career with the Hawkeyes.

She averaged 28.4 points and 8.2 assists per game and eventually became the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.

The rookie is now leading the Fever at the professional level, averaging 17.1 points and a league-leading 8.2 assists per game.

Clark and the Fever will return from the WNBA's break on August 16, set to play the Phoenix Mercury at 7:30 p.m. ET.
