During the game, three contestants compete by answering general knowledge questions to win cash and other prizes.
The first person to buzz in and get the correct answer gets three spins on the Big Board.
The question then goes into multiple-choice for the other players, and a correct answer at that point gets one spin on the Big Board.
After four questions, the set does a 180-degree turn and goes to the Big Board.
The winner with the most money at the end goes to the bonus round.
The Big Board has many different rewards on them, including electronics and vacations.
However, each contestant must avoid getting a dreaded Whammy as that causes them to lose everything.
New episodes of Press Your Luck are back next Thursday, August 8 at 8 p.m. ET and every Thursday after that this summer .
