Jason Kelce kicks off his ESPN career in the best way with incredible fashion choice

If there is one thing that we know about Jason Kelce, it's that he always has fun with everything he does.

And while fans won't get to see him on their television every Sunday in an Eagles uniform, he will still be very present. Following his retirement from the NFL, Kelce signed a deal with ESPN, joining "Monday Night Countdown" this upcoming season.

While it's not Monday night, the first preseason football game for the 2024 season kicks off on Thursday. So Kelce joined NFL Countdown, beginning his media career.

But of course, he had to bring in an incredible fashion choice, rocking a beret that he was seen with during his time in Paris.

"I'm still on Paris time, so I had to go with the Paris headdress," Kelce said.

Kelce and his wife, Kylie, were recently in Paris to support Team USA at the Olympic games. And that's when he broke out the beret.

Ever Garage Beer, which the Kelce brothers became the co-owners of, poked fun at the fashion choice.

One thing is for sure: Jason Kelce will certainly have some fun outfits planned for the season. We'll just have to wait and see what they are.

Kelce will join Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark, Marcus Spears, Adam Schefter and Michelle Beisner-Buck on Monday Night Countdown. And he will come back on during halftime with Scott Van Pelt and Ryan Clark.

“Turns out, it was a short retirement! I’m excited to join ESPN, and particularly the Monday Night Countdown team. ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports. To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment. And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football,” Kelce said in a statement via ESPN.

Kelce made his interest in TV broadcasting known when he tested the waters during the Eagles' Week 10 bye week in 2023 and appeared on Amazon Prime's "Thursday Night Football" show as a guest analyst.

In his initial report, The Athletic's Andrew Marchand said that CBS, NBC, and Prime Video were also heavily pursuing Kelce, however, ESPN won in the end.
