Whitney, who appeared on MTVs Teen Mom UK: Next Generation in June, now wants to urge parents to be vigilant in the parks they take their children to.

The mum revealed that she came across a video on TikTok which made her “feel sick.”

It showed another parent sending out a warning after they spotted that needles were sticking out of the park equipment.

Whitney then filmed herself talking to camera about the horrific find, and the video has since gone viral.

She says: “Please be careful when you are taking young children to the park or playgrounds.”

And it’s not just parents that should be on the lookout, but those family members who are taking their young relatives to the park too.

Whitney continues: “It makes me feel sick.”

The thin needles were found in a number of different places around the park, with some sticking out of a swing, whilst others were at the top of slides.

Whitney continues: “Please be careful, because there's some sick, twisted, psycho people in this world.

“What would make you think, oh yeah let me go and put needles in this park so that I can potentially harm children.

Please be careful when you are taking young children to the park or playgrounds

    “What is wrong with people?”

Whitney couldn’t imagine how she would feel if she came across this herself.

This is why she is keen to raise awareness for the sick and unhinged,” situation.

The video has attracted over 1.1million views, with nearly 2,000 people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “My grandmother used to say that we shouldn’t be scared of ghosts but we should be scared of humans because they do the most unpredictable things.”

Another added: “A new fear unlocked to add to my anxiety. This is so scary.”

Someone else commented from personal experience by writing: “It's everywhere!!!

“I used to see these ALL the time when I was little there wasn't a park without at least 1 needle or razor blade glued to something.”

Many parents were so thankful for Whitney sharing the horrific news, as one said: “Thank you for sharing this information. You've helped parents become more aware and children safe.”

    Hidden Summer Dangers

Leeds Safeguaring Children Partnership has brought together a handy guide to keep children safe over the summer holidays.

    Reservoirs and Lakes

It maybe tempting to cool off in a reservoir and lake during the hot weather but there are many dangers, even for a strong swimmer.

These dangers include the current being strong, the water being polluted causing you to get ill, or it being to cold that it can affect your muscles and how well you swim.

    Holidays

Always reviews the safety notices before visiting new places, and find out what the local signs mean.

Take extra care when intoxicated around water and never enter the water whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Children must always be kept under the constant supervision of a capable adult.

    Railway lines

It is extremely dangerous to cross railway tracks, and research has shown there has been a rise over summer holidays of young people more likely to do it.

Crossing them or taking them for a shortcut can result in serious life changing injuries.
