Skip Bayless is officially moving on from Fox Sports 1 and his show Undisputed . ESPN already made it clear they have no interest in re-hiring Bayless now that he's a free agent. However, the popular sports analyst is now hinting at a new possible gig after leaving FOX.

Bayless reveals that he's been "planning to pursue other opportunities for months." He also goes on to claim that excited about his next endeavor despite not sharing what his next move is. Although that's true, Bayless seems confident that he'll continue talking about sports elsewhere. But that announcement is not being made now.

Undisputed debuted eight years ago and featured Bayless and NFL Hall of Famer, Shannon Sharpe. They provided plenty of opinions and takes that went viral every season. Especially when it came to the NFL and NBA. Sharpe eventually left the show and joined ESPN while also having his own show called Club Shay Shay .

As for Bayless, he's had a long career in sports journalism. Well before becoming a talking head, Bayless started his career in print journalism at The Miami Herald. He made his way to sports radio back in 1991 and made appearances on Fox Sports Net and ESPN.

Bayless' career boomed in the early 2000s after becoming a regular on ESPN broadcasts. He made a name for himself working alongside Stephen A. Smith which formed the birth of First Take in 2007. Bayless eventually left ESPN in 2016 and joined Fox Sports 1 to start Undisputed .

At 73 years old Bayless now seeks a new opportunity in sports media. It's currently unknown what his next gig will be but he promises to make that announcement soon.

Overall, Bayless has been in sports media for a long time. We'll see where he ends up as he could possibly start his own unique show on YouTube or even a podcast. Wherever he goes, Bayless will likely continue garnering plenty of attention with his hot takes.
